Ok, a question for you Canadians out there (or others who know Crokinole). My cunning shot (black) ended up on top of Lara's white one -never had this happened before. This was quite good (for me) as it meant mine was impossible to hit! Is this a valid play, or should my piece have been removed?
Answer carefully, for the happiness of at least one Tim depends on your answer.

As far as i can tell, there isn't a problem with that... surely if you're good enough to shoot it on top you deserve it. Furthermore the piece could be removed within two shots, if you are willing to sacrifice whites!!! Thats all coming from an unexperienced canadian, your brother!
P.S i dont mean to pick sides though!
Awesome shot!!! I cannot see any reason why it would be invalid. Seemingly there's nothing in the Crokinole World Championship Rules about such an eventuality...
Clearly the black tile has left the table/playing surface and is thus forfeit as if it had come off the side. Sorry, not entirely independent view of the 'Loft fixer'
